New England Craft Brew Summit 2020 will feature Rob Tod of Allagash Brewing as the keynote speaker. Rob is the founder of Allagash Brewing Company, former chair of the Brewers Association, and was recognized in 2019 as an Outstanding Wine, Spirits or Beer Producer by the James Beard Foundation. Rob will share his experience and advice with attendees about how he has navigated the industry cycles and maintained excitement around his brand since Allagash’s founding in 1996.
Additionally, we are honored to welcome Neil Witte, Quality Ambassador for the Brewers’ Association as a featured speaker. Neil is certified through the Beer Judge Certification Program and is currently one of 18 Master Cicerones. He is co-author of the Brewers Association Draught Quality Manual, Draught Beer Quality for Retailers and a contributing author to the MBAA Beer Steward Handbook. His talk, ‘Quality: A Complete Picture’ will explore what quality means to today’s brewer, the brewery, and the industry as a whole.
The theme of 2020’s Summit is ‘Sustainable Growth’. With the number of breweries in the USA doubling in the past five years, we’ll be exploring ways breweries can plan to grow and sustain their businesses for the years and decades to come – ensuring the craft beer industry can continue to positively impact communities around New England.
Over 20 Educational Sessions and a Vendor Expo will be offered throughout the day spanning interactive talks on Technical Brewing, Business Operations, and Hospitality topics.
